About Me

I am currently a Business Marketing & Management full-time student at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Towards the end of my freshman year, I realized I wasn’t getting everything I wanted out of college and I had to do something to change it. While sitting in class, I stumbled across USAC’s website (http://usac.unr.edu/), which is a huge study abroad program that is ran out of the University of Nevada, Reno, and I took it as a sign. For the next week all I did was research the different programs and look at past students’ pictures. I fell in love with the beach-life atmosphere of Bilbao and Getxo, Spain (neighboring cities in the Basque Country) and I clicked apply. A couple weeks later, I was accepted and making flight plans for a 3 month trip in a country where I barely spoke the language at age 19.

It was the most amazing experience of my life and it definitely shaped who I am today. Upon returning and realizing that I truly found myself in a foreign country, I have a new passion for life and filling each day with happiness.

My purpose with this blog is to help my readers never get too complacent with life. Within all of our routines we forget who we are, what we want, and our passions. It’s my goal to help you find all of that. I believe our days should be filled with positive energy, motivation, fitness, and the excitement of doing something new. If we never allow ourselves to become too complacent and we are willing to take a chance on our dreams, we have accomplished what life is all about.

So join me on the journey to Carpe the hell out of this Diem….
